Weekend Box Office

5. Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit ($8.8 million)
4. Frozen ($9 million)
3. The Nut Job ($12.3 million)
2. Lone Survivor ($12.6 million)
1. Ride Along ($21.2 million)
Maybe this is what he thought when his movie didn't make more money?
Still good number though

Really surprising that we see the same exact movies in the top five for this weekend's box office. The only difference is that Frozen jumped ahead of Jack Ryan. The only major movie opening this weekend was I, Frankenstein, which made only $8.3 million. Really disappointing for I, Frankenstein, but the movie has received negative reviews, but that hasn't stopped Ride Along, which stays number one at the box office, but it only made half of what it made last week. Again, Frozen stays in the top five and continues to make money. The Nut Job staying on top is not really surprising because usually kid's movies have better traction than serious movies like Lone Survivor. The only movie to look out for this weekend is That Awkward Moment. I'm curious about this movie. I like the talent in the movie, but I wasn't too impressed with the trailer. I'm expecting That Awkward Moment to get into the top five, most likely in the top three.
