Dennis Rodman and North Korea

If you don't know, Dennis Rodman invited his NBA buddies to play an exhibition game against North Koreans for Kim Jong-un's birthday. For some strange reason, this event has nothing to do with politics but instead, trying increase the "sports venture" in North Korea. Really? Dennis Rodman talks about how his NBA buddies left their families in order to be there. Well, I'm sure those guys are getting paid a good amount to be there or no one would have agreed to go to North Korea with Dennis Rodman. Just see what Jalen Rose has to say about this. Does Rodman mean well? Maybe in his mind yeah. It seems like he has no idea what goes on in North Korea. When asked about Kenneth Bae, all he did was scream and yell for no reason at all. Read this article about Bae and you tell me North Korea is a nice place to live. People blame American for slavery and corruption. North Korea puts you in labor camps for any reason at all, especially if you speak badly about the leader and you are in that labor camp forever! That's not an exaggeration, you are in there, you're kids are in there, you're grandchildren are in there, and so on and so on. I have no idea what Dennis Rodman thinks he's doing. Sure, there are rappers and very few people who say that North Korea isn't that bad and that America is just blowing it all up. I assure you, it's not true.

Should this event involve politics? Probably not, but I don't think people realize how bad North Korea is. Sure, America isn't perfect, but have you not seen a movie or read a book where a utopia is corrupt or something so perfect isn't so perfect at all. American isn't perfect, but I'd rather live in America rather than the Congo, North Korea, or Afghanistan. People hate on Obama, but at least he doesn't have a bunch of 'yes men' around him or killed his uncle due to political reasons! You tell in that CNN video that all the people behind Dennis Rodman were already regretting their trip to North Korea. Just goes to wonder, who makes more sense, Jameis Winston or Dennis Rodman?
