2. Frozen ($9.3 million)
1. Ride Along ($12.3 million)
The biggest news for movie fans. RIP Phillip Seymour Hoffman
Not amazing numbers for all of these movies. It is understandable though because of the Super Bowl, not many people would have time to go out and watch a movie. Four out of the five movies in the top five have already made enough money for them to gain a profit, especially Frozen. I'm sure that the sing-along version that came out this weekend helped 'Frozen' make some more money, or just about the same amount it made last weekend. That awkward moment when 'That Awkward Moment' only made one million profit for the weekend. 'Ride Along' has continued to dip in numbers, but it still remains on top of the box office for a third straight week. Expect to see these numbers and the list of movies to change because we have finally gotten out of January, a month notoriously filled with bad movies, and into Feburary where we have some big contenders for the box office, specifically in 'The Lego Movie'.
